F-1 Student Visa (to legally enter the US if applying from abroad)

I-94 record with a 'duration of status'

Approved (stamped) I-20 form
In addition, students must also be able to support themselves financially throughout
their course of study or show proof of external support.
The application and adjudication process is not complicated. The processing time may vary for each applicant.
In general, BIR has no influence on the approval or denial of your F-1 Visa application.
